Plan of Salvation
God's Simple Plan of Salvation
1. Realize that every person (including yourself) is a sinner.
(Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.")
2. Realize that because the penalty for your sin is spiritual death, you are now condemned.
(Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death ...")
3. Realize that you cannot save yourself from this judgment.
(Galations 2:16, "...for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.")
4. Realize that Jesus is able to save you, for he has paid the penalty of sin by his death on the cross.
(Romans 5:8, "...Christ died for us.")
5. Repent (turn from your sin).
(Luke 13:3, "...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.")
6. Call upon Jesus to forgive you of your sin and save your soul.
(Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.)
If you have followed the above 6 steps, you have been adopted into
God's family and are now on the road to Heaven!
